Krishna’s Cosmic Form

Krishna,

Personified Infinite Self

Unfold your Cosmic form

To those who can withstand your magnitude.

Your awe-inspiring Self 

Is more brilliant than a thousand suns

More powerful than the greatest storms

More encompassing than the mind can fathom.

Divine Self,

Open my heart

To wisdom,

To love,

To truth,

Let me remember 

The perfection

Of the divine game

Of life. 

Guide me in the practice of performing 

Selfless service

Without attachment 

To the fruits of my actions. 

Oh, divine Self,

Help me recollect

That you are a mirror 

Of the Infinite

Of that which is within me

And to see You

Not as separate 

But as the only Self

Which I am part of.
