A Break in Time

Time is an illusion. Through various tools like spiritual practices and medicines, we can effectively escape the illusion of time. Once we go beyond time, we arrive at the Truth of the Infinite. Being one with the Infinite is our nature, it is a home within us always available at any present moment through our breath. Return home.

This artwork uses a variety of symbols to represent the concept of time breaking. There is a break in the grid with a black hole. Falling into the black hole there is an hourglass shattering, with the particles of sand bursting in all directions. From the sand emerge geometric, holographic butterflies. The butterflies are a symbol of Karma/action. In the distance there are four figures who represent one being’s evolution of consciousness, ending with the being using meditation and medicines to reach the point of breaking the illusion of time. In the sky amongst the clouds resides a being symbolizing The Infinite Self. The Infinite Self is a being who represents Source, the actor behind all the masks of existence, observing the whole scene.
