Under the full moon’s tender gaze, ย
The Buddha sat,ย
In serene embrace. ย
In the stillness of that lunar light, ย
Samsara revealed itself,ย
A mere dream in sight. ย
Through the veil of illusion,ย
He peered, ย
Untouched by the world,ย
No longer steered. ย
He saw through the danceย
Of life and death, ย
In a moment of clarity,ย
He took a deep breath. ย
A thousand-petaled lotusย
Bloomed within, ย
Radiating purity,ย
Untouched by sin. ย
Though rooted in mud,ย
Its petals pristine, ย
A symbol of the awakened,ย
Serene. ย
In the silence of that sacred night, ย
Enlightenment dawned,ย
Brilliant and bright. ย
Like the lotus,ย
Rising above the mire, ย
The Buddha transcended,ย
All sorrow burnt in fire.ย
Untouched by suffering,ย
Beyond the fray, ย
In the moon’s glow,ย
He found the way. ย
A cosmic play,ย
This life did seem, ย
In the vast expanse,ย
All was but a dream.ย ย
